by Brandy Swan and Phil Howell Since my earliest days I've heard a voice; Come it would during trying times, To sooth and calm my most fevered dreams. During times of stress and haunted sleep The voice was there like a calming hand; And so in my mind it had remained. But then one day the voice spoke out loud; So live, so real, so wonderful to hear, Gently singing to me from behind. Startled, I turned and looked behind And there before me stood my soul Come to find me in the flesh. My heart, my voice, my endless joy; It stood before me, so proud, so alive, My future, my past, so bound together. For there before me stood YOU....
